Postdoctoral Fellow

Ankita is a postdoctoral fellow in the Aghi lab, where she studies matrix biology, focusing on how cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs) shape the tumor microenvironment and contribute to therapy resistance in glioblastoma. She brings extensive experience in in vivo tumor models and tumor microenvironment exploration. Complementing her experimental work, she integrates computational approaches to uncover the dynamics of tumor-stroma interactions. She has a strong passion for translational oncology, aiming to translate laboratory discoveries into therapeutic strategies that improve patient outcomes. Outside the lab, she enjoys exploring new cuisines, cooking, and picnics in the park on sunny days.
